PrismDR
The PrismDR solution uses DoubleTake LiveWire© to provide continuous full system image backup to a centralized disk based recovery server at PTLGateway’s
Datacentre.
Because it is a full system image, everything on the protected server including data, applications, operating system and configuration information is continuously
replicated to the repository server allowing that entire server to be easily restored to its most recent state or to a previous point in time snapshot.
In the event of an invocation request PTLGateway would then push image out into Virtual Private Server, (VPS) host and provide access to the server back to the
client, this can either be in situ at the PTLGateway Datacentre, or the VPS can be tranferred to the clients own site. Once the original servers problem is resolved,
the image can be then restored back to the original server via a reverse process.
The Client will need a VPN Connection to PTLGateway, plus any kit as may be required to facilitate the VPN, e.g. Firewall.
PrismDR provides a low cost startup and low monthly cost model, costs only increase during a period of invocation and then return to the lower level once things
return to a BAU state.
