How do I access my PTLGateway?
PTLGateway provides a series of encrypted access methods that enable users to work efficiently
and securely and any combination of the these methods can be tailored or combined to suit the
needs of a particular customer.
Portwise
PortWise offers the world’s most secure enterprise application access platform, with a solution that
is comprehensive in it's scope, integrated in it's approach and secure in it's architecture.
A Secure Application Access strategy must address the 6 A's of security in order to be comprehensive, by using Portwise technology, PTLGateway
are able to offer a wider range of Secure Access options which opens up the possibilities of what applications we may be able to host for you.

Assess
Inspection of a users device (laptop, PDA, smart-phone) to ensure it complies with a corporate security policy.

Authenticate
Identify that a user is who they claim to be.
·
Authorize
Determine which applications a user gains access to.
·
Access
Creates a secure encrypted network link between the users device and the desired application.
·
Audit
Audits who accessed which application, when did they do it, and what did they download.
·
Abolish
Removes ALL traces of access to the corporate network on completion of the session.
Dedicated VPN
For companies with groups of users located in fixed offices we offer secure encrypted fixed line access using ADSL or Leased data circuits. On top of
this connectivity PTLGateway will install a Virtual Private Network that will encrypt data between the office and PTLGateway's datacentre.
